I’m starting to get a taste for fashion>_<
so you will see me doing more of fashion portraits rather than just a pretty facial shots. the boring old pretty face shot kinda bugs me now because i want to express somthing diffferent, rather than using a pretty face to make my photograph better=(

we have a whole week off! so i’ll probably be able to do some fashion shots of my friend. (since i find it so hard to use a tripod and focusing without a model-__-)

Have promised to make a bag for a friends wedding - using the remains of the fabric her dress was made from. Here is my first attempt at the bag in bridal satin - but in a more non-wedding colour. This is again based on the ‘pleated darted bag’ pattern from Lisa’s U-Handblog

Heavy weight bridal satin and lining fabric. Firm fusible interfacing and heavy weight sew-in to achieve the crisp pleats. Handle from Kleins. I didn’t put a lightweight iron-on on the lining satin, which would have made it easier to sew
